Killradio Weekly News 12 April 2011

The news show of science and reason!

What we have here is this week's Weekly News in Review from harpers.org (and the killradio news team).

This week we begin with a discussion about how we in Los Angeles (though this implicates everyone in the U.S.) are being nickeled and dimed to death so that the financial crises fall squarely on the backs of the poor.

A new surcharge for taxis in Los Angeles going to the airport (LAX) is $4.00 per trip.  We already have surcharges for riding from 5pm to 8pm, and another one for riding at night, so now let's raise the airport charge from $2.50 to $4.00.  What, the traffic won't add enough of a charge?  We have to add more?

Thanks to B.H. for the phone tip!

And if you know of any wrongs that need to be addressed, please pass them along to me at chillroom@gmail.com. Include a phone number so I can talk with you about your issues.  Killradio is here for the community, and the community is worldwide!

Beyond that, we discuss the averted governmental shutdown, the insidiousness of racism, the cowardice of partisanship, and the simple fact that our elected representatives don't give a damn about any of us.

I.E., news as usual.

The entire Bush Administration belongs in prison for their traitorous anti-Constitutional behavior.

Enough or Too Much.
