Culture Remixed Radio 22 with DNAE Beats & Slotr
Did a special Thursday evening edition of the radio show with guests DNAE Beats and Slotr who were visiting from San Francisco. I was late to the studio and Jean-Paul of Truth is Bullshit graciously got my guests started while I fought my way to the studio.
Both musicians did primarily dubstep sets with Slotr going first with a more midtempo set and DNAE Beats picking up the energy level. They played their own compositions and remixes for the bulk of the show. After their sets, I interviewed each before they had to leave for soundcheck at Heavy. I rounded out the show with a selection of music, from downtempo beats to full on party music and some choice rap cuts.

Culture Remixed 21 with Nasa/Adam Warlock
On Monday, October 3rd, I had producer and MC, Nasa aka Adam Warlock as my special guest from Staten Island, New York via skype. He spoke about running his own record label Uncommon Records since 2004 and the current challenges to independent hip hop in the current climate. Nasa also sent over some new music from the label showcasing its progressive hip hop sound. It is a really informative interview with lots of behind the scenes insights.
