No point in losing your temper, since you can't get anything done in anger. We already know that ideology trumps solving problems, and the right wing has already decided that they will refuse to compromise, no matter what. Yet all that results in is what happened in Tucson on Saturday -- gunfire, wounds, death.
I apologize for my occasional calls for murder, they were attempts at bad humor and at expressing the frustration of being intelligent in a world where intelligence is cursed. To be reasonable means to weigh what happens around you and respond accordingly but not in anger or in turmoil.
If you do listen to this news, will you drop me an email to chillroom@gmail.com? I doubt I'll ever hear from anyone, certainly haven't heard from anyone yet, but who knows when I could be surprised?
